Life is teeming all around us.  Many of the shapes in these watercolors seem to press against each other in symbiotic relationships. I am very interested in the power of abstract shape to convey meaning. I try to find shapes that seem vaguely familiar and that evoke multiple interpretations. Another goal for me is to make the watercolor medium more physical with textures, patterns and multiple glazes.
